The first night we got to Utah we headed out to the salt flats. These were so beautiful. I told Claire to taste the ground, and when she went down to lick it Lauren fell right on her head and poor Claire got an owee on her nose. I felt so bad because the ground is like hard crystals. It was kinda cute though, because for the rest of the week it looked like Claire had little freckles on her nose.
I still havent decided if it was worth the extra 3 hours of driving to go out there but it was still fun and I think Cory had a great time. Afterwards they went to the casinos in wendover. They just went in for 20 minutes and I stayed in the car with the kiddos. It was all good because I was reading Catching fire, the second book of the hunger games and it was so good. I think Cory made 20 bucks too. Woohoo!

The next day (Saturday) the boys decided to play some football. Afterwards they went to 7-11 and got some slurpees.

After traveling all the way to Utah for the wedding, we ended up missing it because we got the wrong directions to the place. Story of my life. The reception was great though and the trip was well worth it. Congratulations to Jared and Ang!
